Frequently Asked Questions.
Do you have a shop?
We don’t have a shop but can recommend a stockist for you, Di does do personal appointments if required, please enquire for details.
What are the shoes made from?
Our shoes are made from the finest French laces, Italian satin and beautifully soft suede. The shoes are lined with the softest kid leather linings for comfort and have lovely leather soles, they are designed with comfort in mind. Our heels and straps are generally made in suede as it will wear better than fabrics and we want you to wear your shoes again!
Why is there a plastic film on the soles?
We use a plastic film on our soles to protect them until you are ready to wear them. It should be removed by carefully peeling it off when you are ready. Please note once it has been removed the shoes are non returnable.
Where are they made?
All of our shoes are designed by Di Hassall and our designs are unique to us. Our shoes are made in a fantastic factory in Portugal, renowned for it’s fine quality footwear. Each pair is stitched and lasted using traditional methods by skilled craftsmen and finished by hand in The Cotswolds. Our lovely trims and accessories are all made in the Cotswolds by our team of skilled hand embroiderers and beaders.
How do I care for them?
We suggest you protect your shoes by spraying them with a protective spray designed for both textiles and suede, widely available in high street shoe shops and department stores. (Always do a small test spray and follow the instructions carefully). Naturally as they are delicate shoes they may get marked but protective spray will help, for any further help please contact us.
Can I dye my shoes?
We make our shoes in beautiful neutral nude and blush tones, which complement a wide range of colours, they also make the shoes very wearable after the event. We do not recommend dyeing them as most styles are a mix of fabrics and suede so we cannot guarantee the result.
