We’re always being asked whether our fabulous nude and blush suede wedding shoes also come in ivory. Our answer, until now, has been no…but…
We’ve listened to this popular request from many of our brides-to-be and come up with the perfect solution!
Designer wedding shoes
Having been a top designer in the wedding shoes and bridal wear industry for over twenty years, Di wanted to veer away from using ivory in her designs.
The nude and blush v ivory debate
For her first own-brand collection, Di chose to produce her gloriously subtle and stylish bridal footwear in neutral shades of nude and blush pink.
Di’s collection was inspired by the strong trend for blush, nude and pale pink shades used by many leading wedding gown designers. See some gorgeous examples at Jenny Packham and Vera Wang.
Her wedding shoes collection also reflected the strong demand in the mainstream fashion industry for nude toned shoes to accessorise any outfit, in any colour or pattern.
We’re giving ivory wedding shoes a chance!
But of course, we want to please all of you! Especially those brides-to-be amongst you who have your hearts set on wearing an ivory gown on your big day. We know you want your designer wedding shoes to coordinate perfectly with your dress and be unique and personal to you.
So we’ve decided to go with the flow and bow to popular demand by designing a range of beautiful ivory trims. These beauties can easily be attached to our gorgeous wedding shoes to make them predominantly ivory.
The new range of ivory trims for our wedding shoes include: ivory silk ribbon ties, an ivory beaded leaf motif trim and gorgeous ivory organza ruffles with frosted diamante gems.
